Fr. Jerald D Souza is a Jesuit priest of Karnataka Province. He is currently the Director of St. Joseph’s College of Law in Bengaluru. He has vast experience in working with poor and marginalized communities in Bijapur, North Karnataka. He has worked for the rights of slum dwellers, devadasi women, children, construction workers etc. He is also a trainer in social analysis, human rights, jurisprudence, and constitution of India.
He works in collaboration with the civil society groups to fight against the violation of human rights.
